Last Week: Liz made a big move to give Tevin his curtain call.

39 26 Days, 18 People, 1 “Survivor” blog…

Alright, let’s check out where the tribe currently stands…

The NuiNui Tribe (wearing red)

Ben, 36 - Musician

Charlie, 26 - Law Student

Hunter, 28 - Science Teacher

Kenzie, 29 - Salon Owner

Liz, 35 - Marketing Strategist

Maria, 48 - Parent Coach

Q, 29 - Real Estate Agent

Tiffany, 33 - Artist

Venus, 24 - Data Analyst

Post-Tribal Shenanigans

Everybody is very annoyed with Q because of his faux quit. And, nobody is quite sure why he did it. OK, so we’re all on the same page.

But apparently it was what exactly as Q said; he really did want to go home because he confused the vote.

Is it a control thing? Can he just not stand to not have control?

Tiffany goes to Q for some clarification, and he says that when someone in the Six throws out the name of someone else in the Six, that person has to go. And when Tiffany called out Maria, that messed things up.

Katurah Topps had a good point about this during the Power Rankings; you should be able to say any name to your number one if you’re just discussing ideas.

As you’d imagine, Tiffany is livid…especially because Q told people about her idol.

Overall, the vibe seems to be that Q wanted to pretend to have the moral high ground because the vote wasn’t going his way. And several people say he won’t get their vote if he gets to the end.

And, Liz is mad because Q stole her thunder. Meh…you don’t need thunder at this point. Can’t you remind people at final Tribal that you drove the Tevin vote? They were all there, they know.

Venus is loving it because Hunter voted for her, but he was the only person on the wrong side of the vote. She tries to get on his good side by saying, “C’mon Hunter, Mr. Strategy…yesterday you tried to pull off a move.”

Something something, catching more flies with honey…

Hunter’s the Hunted

Hunter is reeling because his closest allies, Q, Tevin, and Liz, blew up right in his face.

Treemail arrives for the immunity challenge and the players have to choose their own teams of three. Kenzie and Tiffany want nothing to do with Q, so they immediately partner up with Ben. Charlie, Hunter, and Maria decide to team up because who wouldn’t want to team with Hunter. And Q, Venus, and Liz are the leftovers.

Q recognizes this as an opportunity to see if Maria and Charlie want to throw the challenge so they can target Hunter. He makes this pitch and Charlie and Maria aren’t into it. Not only that, but Maria still holds a grudge against Tiffany.

Immunity Challenge Time: The teams will cross a teeter totter, then transfer a buoy across another balance beam. They’ll dig up rope rungs. The first two teams to complete this will advance. In the next stage they’ll use rungs to cross a rope bridge. Then each player will have to toss a ball onto a ring. The first team to complete this will move on to the final. There, all three members will stand on a perch while holding onto a handle, the last person standing wins immunity.

Probst makes a rare pre-challenge prediction and says that Q, Venus, and Liz will be eliminated first.

Yikes! Saucy Probst!

Result: Probst was wrong as Ben, Tiffany, and Kenzie are out first. Oh…they should have made him bet some rice on the outcome. Hunter, Charlie, and Maria advance to the finals. Once again it comes down to Hunter and Charlie with Charlie picking up the win this time.

Pre-Tribal Politicking

Kenzie gets the line of the night, asking if anyone wants to quit.

Slow clap…

Tiffany wants Q gone, but Q wants to keep causing some chaos. However, nobody wants to work with him.

But, since everyone is focused on Q and Hunter, Venus and Kenzie both think now is the perfect time for a blindside. And Kenzie is thinking about targeting Tiff.

She approaches Maria, Charlie, and Hunter with this plan and they’re all onboard. Kenzie also pulls in Ben.

Maria loves the idea of Tiffany going home, but is a little wary that Kenzie would get credit for the move.

Interestingly, Tiffany tells Charlie that she wants to burn her own idol because it makes her a threat. This causes them to consider going for Hunter first.

Eventually everyone gets on board with going for Hunter.

Which is gonna be a mess, because if Tiffany plays her idol, Hunter is definitely going to play his.

Sure enough, Hunter starts getting nervous, so he tells Q that he’s going to play his idol and they should vote for Ben. He then goes to Liz and Venus and makes the same pitch.

Everything gets a little crazy as word gets around about Hunter’s idol. Venus is trying to lead the charge to vote for Q instead.

Tribal Time

Before we get underway, Jeff jokes about how entertaining last Tribal was, so he lets everyone share a small bowl of popcorn. Random.

Tiffany and Q get into it, with Tiffany outing that Q had tried to target Hunter earlier in the morning.

Hunter is rocked because he thought he had a good idea of what’s going on, but now he seems lost.

All kinds of whispering is going on with people trying to convince Hunter that Q is the vote.

In fact, so much whispering is going on, that I think it’s probably Hunter, right?

Voting Time: No votes are shown.

JPro tallies and returns. He asks if anyone wants to play an idol or an advantage and…nobody does.

Wow…

We’ve got one vote for Q, one vote for Hunter, one vote for Q, one vote for Hunter, one vote for Q, one vote for Hunter, one vote for Q, one vote for Hunter, and one vote for Ben.

A tie!

Voting Time Part Deux: No votes are shown…part deux.

Alright, we’ve got one vote for Q, three votes for Hunter, and the tenth person eliminated from “Survivor 46” is…Hunter.

Verdict: I’ll give them this; we’re pretty deep into this season and I still think most of the players can win. Well, not Q and Venus.

Power Rankings Results: Julie Alley had Hunter in spot eight, while Katurah Topps had him in spot seven. So, the current score is Reba 4 (-Dee, +Kellie) 108, Gordon’s All Stars 98.

A: Charlie and Maria - I know Maria wants credit for some moves, but they’re doing a great job just being in the middle of everything. And if one of them can get to the end with Venus and Q…

B+: Tiffany - I’m not quite sure how she got out of that with her idol intact. But, she may as well just play it next time now that they aren’t worried about Hunter finding it.

B: Kenzie - Calling out your BF shows that you came to play. Maybe a little too soon since you weren’t able to make it happen.

B: Liz - I don’t get her needing credit for the Tevin vote. Everybody who was a part of it will know…and that was pretty much everybody.

C+: Ben - It always feels like Ben is an afterthought. But, he can still win as long as he gets to the end with…

C-: Venus - If I’m playing, I’m doing everything I can do to get to the end with her.

F: Q - So…that was an honest quit last week? Q is fascinating. He isn’t gonna win. But, he’s fascinating.
